Information
Vaudreuil Bay is a beautiful open bay in the Lake of Two Mountains. Several islands are present near the rental center. Renting a boat gives you access to this bay only. It is not permitted to leave the bay or to sail under the bridges. There is a waterway that crosses the bay and you must be careful when crossing it.
To rent a boat, you will be required to show identification and sign the Acceptance of Risk and Rental Agreement forms. You must also be over 16 years of age (or accompanied by an adult), and be drug and alcohol free.
Floatation jackets, as well as other mandatory safety equipment, are provided. Brief training may be provided at the start if you are unfamiliar with the activity.
It is recommended that you wear waterproof shoes that protect and hold your feet well. Remember to protect yourself from the sun (hat, sunscreen), bring water and a snack, a windbreaker if needed, as well as a waterproof bag to protect your personal belongings (keys, cell phone, snacks, etc.).

Watercraft inspection and cleaning station
- Location: parc de la Maison-Valois
To limit the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) from one body of water to another, residents will be invited to clean their personal watercraft before or after launching. An inspection and cleaning station, equipped with a brush, has been set up for this purpose near the rental container.
Boats on the water are considered "contaminated". In fact, various organisms can get caught on them, as well as on nautical equipment such as life jackets and oars. Once transported, they threaten to contaminate other bodies of water visited.
Steps to clean your boating equipment:
1 - Inspect your equipment and remove any attached organisms.
2 - Drain any water accumulated in the equipment (e.g. boots, nets, coolers) and empty any water that may be on board.
3 - Brush the boat to remove debris and AIS and put them in the trash.
4 - Repeat these steps after each visit.
