Ancolie is the folk duo of Natalie Byrns and Anik Bérubé, two multi-instrumentalist friends who make songs to do good. After touring a shared show for several years, the two soloists recorded their complicity on a sincere, enveloping debut album, “Le soleil en bulle”, which won them the Francophone songwriter of the year award at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Four years later, the two creators present “Les ébranlements”, a sensitive and luminous collection of nine new songs composed entirely by the two of them. Songs that evoke both inner turmoil and the quest for serenity. Warm instruments, comforting words and vocal harmonies crafted like pieces of goldsmith's art.
