Lumin'Art
This year, the works of art evoke change, conversion and profound evolution. In all, the exhibition features 56 works of art inspired by the theme Mutation:
- 39 created by artists from Vaudreuil-Soulanges
- 17 by students from Vaudreuil-Dorion schools and seniors' residences
This new exhibition joins those of previous years and an exhibition by the Club photo Vaudreuil-Dorion, for an even more enchanting experience!

Scenography
This year, Vaudreuil-Dorion artist John McRae was commissioned to design and implement the scenography for Lumin'Art. As artistic director, he was keen to mix and match structures from recent years, and to explode them onto the site to create a luminous, interactive trail. Working with the city's various teams, John created a new way to discover over 80 works of art, and added his own creative and original touch. Welcome to his world!
Music
An original soundtrack was composed by four young people from the Arts-études - musique program at Cité-des-jeunes High School to bring unity to the exhibition. Jessy Crevier-Guindon, Lewis D'Amico, Lucas Kiricsi and Rulin Xu were inspired by the theme Mutation. Each composed a piece, and the four were then assembled to create a single piece in four movements. The music will transport you into a world of discovery, introspection and wonder!
Participants
This year, Mutation benefited from the contribution of 19 groups of primary and secondary school students. Their creations are displayed on bubbles and barrels.
In addition to the young people, groups of senior residents took part in a workshop to create a work to add to the exhibition..
