Environment Committee : Youth citizen member wanted

The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion is looking for a new youth citizen member, aged between 15 and 25, for its environment committee. This is a two-year volunteer commitment.

The Environment Committee's mandate is to study any issue determined by the municipal council or the general management, and to make recommendations on major environmental issues prioritized by the city, such as environmental protection, environmental quality, a major project, policy, strategy, action plan or regulation in the fields of water, air, soil, climate change, greenhouse gas reduction, natural environments, biodiversity and waste management.

Members must have a keen interest in environmental issues or expertise in this field, as well as the time and availability to attend meetings and familiarize themselves with the topics and reference documents prior to these meetings (four per year).
